The Campfire Exchange is one of the really rare opportunities to speak candidly about working lives. Although the modern corporation claims to support staff, encourage openness and transparency, the reality is something else.
Being able to speak candidly about the workplace in an environment of honesty is extremely important to balance our experiences and maintain a positive perspective.

What is a Campfire Exchange?
We humans have sat around campfires, in small groups, to share our stories since as far back as we care to imagine.
Campfire Exchange is a metaphor for a warm and safe setting where people can exchange on their issues and concerns. Guided by a a coach/mentor, it is a place where new creative solutions are born, through deep listening and exchange of insights and support.
Our common commitment
Every Campfire Exchange starts with our commitment.
” We acknowledge our respect for each other’s well being and the privacy of our exchanges. We underscore that guarding the safety and privacy of these sessions fosters long-term trust and authentic exchanges between the participants “
A Campfire Exchange has the following format:
Session Duration: 90 – 120 minutes
Recommended number of participants: 8 (max)
- Read and accept our commitment and set intentions.
- Voice and listen to participants’ specific topics.
- Supportively contribute and exchange ideas.
- Form a practical way forward.
- Reaffirm our commitment and close.
There are two Campfire Exchange formats:
